Single ladies, put a (fake) ring on it

This unintended side-effect is rather convenient since I do have an "other" but prefer to not blurt out "I have a boyfriend, get away!" any time a member of the male species talks to me. Committed or not, a well-placed ring can guard against unwanted attention: I know a woman who in her single days would wear her grandmother's wedding ring because it allowed her to read a book in a bar without being mobbed by guys on the prowl. (It was "feminism vs. pragmatism," as she saw it.)-

It helps , but only a little . What really works is if you just stick to gay bars with your girlfriends . I have never had a female stalker .

The video to which this is a response is much more entertaining. Sorry, ladies.

girls are hot, but this is a shitty parody of jizz in my pants. I love women dearly, but why is it when they try and be funny like this they always fail? good quality on the production though

That's because the wrong kind of people are in charge. They just need better writers. There ARE some funny female comedians out there! Male comedians can be less funny then females, it just all depends...

maybe ladies should be a little more receptive and a little less sublte in telling a guy you're not interrested. just a thought. and a guy who cant take the hint is just a retard... probably plays lacross or something, so try telling him his frat buddies are calling.

hmmm ... being disingenuous is the solution? Say it ain't so?!
Thank God I live in San Francisco. Women here are confident enough not to have to lie about who they are.

You make a good point about the need to keep unwanted attention at bay. In fact, even when I've told guys who are hitting on me that I already have a wonderful boyfriend, many of them accuse me of lying. The male ego can be a real pain sometimes.
