Pharmacy board sets four hearings on medical marijuana

The first hearing will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 19 at the State Historical Building in Des Moines.

The second will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 2 at the Music Man Square in Mason City.

The third will be from noon to 7 p.m. Oct. 7 at the University of Iowa’s Bowen Science Building in Iowa City.

The fourth will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 4 at Harrah’s Casino and Hotel in Council Bluffs.

    • If they use facts as their guide, things will change. It's when you let people spin, that trouble begins. I sure hope those who represent change, are preparing to make their case.

      Kudos to Jack Herer! With the help of Jack Herer, cannabis hemp history is no longer a mystery. It's time to right the wrongs of Richard Nixon and reclassify cannabis hemp. It's time for politicians to stop spinning disinformation about cannabis, for political gain.

      It's time for politicians to put people first! People would benefit from cannabis. Our economy and environment would benefit from utilizing hemp. Hemp is 100% biodegradable and could be used to replace many of the items, which are polluting our land and water.
