Bikini World Record Attempt somewhat of a fail

Last year Russia set the World Record for the number of women photographed wearing bikinis in one place (yeah, it's a real thing), and this weekend Britain made its attempt to break it.

However, of the 1,924 women needed to break this record, only 42 showed up at the beach in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. Bad weather and more forecast is being put down as the reason.

Fail. Surely Britain is used to rubbish summer weather by now?!
