I saw and heard your amazing story of being detained in North Korea. I think it's wonderful the way that President Clinton came to rescue the both of you. I just had one comment to make about your appreciation speech. I am curious to know why you did not mention or thank God. Afterall, he is the sole reason you both survived. I am unsure if you believe in a higher power. However, in a situation such as yours and Euna's, there is no way man (alone) can save your lives. God had to be behind the entire ordeal. Sometimes we don't realize these things. I just feel the need to question and speak out when I don't hear and see God get the credit for our survival stories. I survived a near-death car accident many years ago... and I realize that it was only God who saved me and for that I will thank and appreciate him forever. The bible tells us we should praise & honor, thank God at all times. We should try to do this more as a nation. Perhaps, our country would be a better place if we did honor, thank and praise God more often.
