FEAR. FEAR. FEAR. As I understand it, somehow the North Koreans got a hold of the video tape of Laura saying, "We have just crossed over into North Korea"
It seems her sister had done the same type thing when she was reporting from that area, so my guess is they thought it was something they could add to the footage, however once the North Koreans got a hold of that tape it became proof they knew they had crossed over. Then the problem became they were reporting on the Human trafficking between China and North Korea. There again it seems they got all of the video tapes, which was a major mistake on the part of the camera man. Somehow both he and the guide got away. I have been able to piece together a few new details...

Of course this is all just so much guess work really. Only the girls and the two guys know what did take place and no one is talking yet. My thought is Both China and North Korea wanted this story stopped and Current gave in with the potential hope of some future date release.

i think they'd be found to have their heads stuffed up somewhere they don't want us to discover lifestudentno83.... there's your explanation. count on it.

What I want to know is why Current hasn't come forward with an answer to why we were censored.

it's interesting this happens so close to "home" here. used to hearing about government activity/intrusions from other "bigger" corporations. all this has been informative. thank you.

but I have a couple of questions.

WhyCurrent made mention of 'shill' accounts. how is that at all related to these censured posts "deleted only seconds after they were posted"? I do not immediately suspect Current would gain anything from it, if essentially the same information was being distributed elsewhere. And you're basically telling me that I didn't hear it because Current wouldn't post it? for their own reporters? almost completely ignorant it looks to me as Delia suggests--a government gag job that doesn't quite make sense either? Perhaps it's Mr. Al Gore needs to come face the public since these women are back, and TELL US.

if someone knows this story intimately, and KNOWS if it is indeed Mr. Al Gore who would logically be "our man" to ask, why not post it with the Title: "Mr. Al Gore We'd Like To Know Why AND How" in fact, we demand it. =P lol

That said, I think it's pretty crazy to go into North Korea, unless a) you're a missionary sent from GOD ALMIGHTY and there is No doubt in any fiber of your body, or b) you're a current reporter taking on more than you can chew and yes Thank God and Mr. Al Gore and Secretary Clinton for saving your dumb ass... don't do that dumb shit again Current! for what's real, that's JackAss material please...

the truth is that we cant prove the truth, theres alot going on all the time around the globe its very distracting to the average person who watches shitty t.v.
And the more bad things that happen in the world the more people forget about the last worst thing to happen.
i feel like the white man (over time) has thunder fucked the resources of our only planet, and is the main reason the world burn far before our sun explodes.

Oh I agree with this blog whole heartedly.
Why is it that our posts did not get exposure on the Current Site?? I did a post, and when I looked for it later, it was not there.? ! What is up with this??
I have a great deal of respect for Laura and Euna. What they have had to endure over the last 140+ days!! Everyone, well we all were praying for your safe return, and Current viewers especially. Especially "us" the "CurrentTV" viewers.
I became a fan during planet Earth Month.
I stumbled upon the channel 107 here where I live in Boca Raton, Fla. I had never seen a show like this and I was hooked immediately!
I could relate because the reporting was done by col edge students, or what I thought. Anyway, everyone is young, but knowledgeable. The journalism was to my liking!
I turned a lot of my friends onto the show and to the website, because I thought is was, (and still is) the bomb!!!
So "NO MORE CENSORSHIP please... we want the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth...

I'm not exactly sure why Current was silent on this, but it may be because they didn't want to compromise any deal that they were trying to reach behind close doors. I'm sure Current didn't want to do that, but they may have had to in order to get Laura & Euna home safely. The US doesn't have any diplomatic ties to North Korea, they had to go through Sweden or Switzerland, one of those two. It may be like when police won't release information in an ongoing investigation. But I don't know, I'm just guessing. Hopefully Current will tell us why did it.
