Conor takes a look inside the strange world of child beauty pageants as they are portrayed on 'Toddlers & Tiaras' and 'Little Miss Perfect.' Guess what? It's weird.

Remind me again why this culture encourages people to be so fake?

What I want to know is what are we saying to all the aliens out there picking up these shows in outer space? We are stranger than any creature from another planet.

Someone call Child Services, please. I see several unfit parents.

The day I put my unborn daughter in a beauty pageant as a toddler is the day I barbecue my left arm after sauteing it in mango marinade and lime beer, slow roasting it over a light flame. And I'm a left-handed writer.

Hmmmm. Pedophile paradise. That dude singing the magic carpet song is one of the creepiest things I have ever seen.

I can never for the life of me understand the parents of these children, especially after seeing themselves on television. How can they watch themselves do this and still not see how wrong they are? The combo platter of selfishness and cluelessness these people possess is just exquisite.

these parents are so sick, it's unforgivable.

I secretly love watching Toddlers & Tiaras; it's entrancing while simultaneously dreadful, like a train wreck… There was a girl named Madison on the show who insisted to be called Tootie whenever they were doing pageant business, because that was her stage name... Horrifying and hilarious all at the same time.

This is so gross. The same folks who bring us these disgusting spectacles are some of the same folks who molest and injure children for life. I am a child sexual/physical/emotional abuse survivor so I know what I'm talking about.

This is absolutely disgusting. I guess it's okay if they have a pageant to exhibit cute little girls, as themselves (the nature of how little girls are), but it's nasty and deplorable when they try to turn 5 year-olds into women. With bikinis, lady tricks like stripper moves, etc. These pageants are every pedophiles wet dream and all involved need to be deeply ashamed of themselves. I call pedophilia in disguise, can't fool my eyes!

The pageant dads and gay guys who are into to this like that effed up 'dad' and male singer are equally disgusting and just plain creepy. I'm sure that one little girl would like an actual male (truly masculine) figure as a father, not another mom. Where has the shame in the world gone? A lot of people NEED to be ashamed.
