including the Israeli film community in the Festival’s City to
City program. The visiting filmmakers represent a dynamic
national cinema, the best of Israel’s open, uncensored, artistic
expression. Anyone who has actually seen recent Israeli
cinema, movies that are political and personal, comic and
tragic, often critical, knows they are in no way a propaganda
arm for any government policy. Blacklisting them only stifles
the exchange of cultural knowledge that artists should be
the first to defend and protect. Those who refuse to see these
films for themselves or prevent them from being seen by
others are violating a cherished right shared by Canada and
all democratic countries.

Tel-aviv is a fun city.

Seriously cool! One day I gotta go there!
From all I hear, Christians are invited, welcome and respected.
Now, I'd wonder how it feels to visit Yemen or Pakistan or Afghanistan or Iran. -
the best time to come to Israel for a Christian is Xmas.

'Occupied Territories'
I guess you mean the Islamic occupied territories of Judea, Samaria, East Jerusalem and the Temple Mount.

"I guess you mean the Islamic occupied territories of Judea, Samaria, East Jerusalem and the Temple Mount."
So what do you propose? Uprooting millions from their homes and destroying the Dome of the Rock?

The "Palestinians" are sick and angry at the U.N. for deciding to give land to Israel. Of course, they don't have the guts to yell at the U.N., so instead, they yell at Israel because the Koran is not in love with Jewish people. So, this gives them a religious reason behind the hate to explain why they want Israel to give them some land because the U.N. only gave them Jordan and Syria and Lebanon and three countries are just not enough. How many of us have ever seen even one protest against Jordan, demanding land from the Jordanians?
How many have seen any "Palestinians" demanding land from Lebanon? Yet, if we do our homework, we will find Palestinian refugee camps in those countries. Also, the front gates are locked. Those Palestinians inside those camps are not allowed to go out for work or for any other reason. In Israel, the camps are open for travel to and from as long as there are no current terrorist bombings. Yet, they demand land from Israel and not from the other countries which contain refugee camps.
Clearly, they just want to express hate only in one direction, even though they should be just as upset that the Jordanians and the Lebanese will not give them land. Also, the U.N. will certainly not cancel the 1948 vote. -
The PRE 1967 borders were the reason that Israel "grabbed" the land. The constant attacks from the Syrians were launched from the Golan Heights which means from the Golan mountains. The Moslems used to shoot down from their positions at the tops of the mountains.
Also, and even more importantly! The Arab nations started a war in 1967 not to get the land back to borders from before 1967. NO, of course not. The Arabs were trying to take away all of Israel and get the land back that the U.N. had voted to give to Israel. Then, when Israel fought back, the Israeli Jews took over the mountains from which the attacks had been launched.
History shows that Israel did not attack. Israel retaliated. -
Don't forget that even today there are Arabs in the old city of Jerusalem who are occupying Jewish houses.
-
All lands from Morocco to Pakistan are illegally occupied by Arabs....except Israel thank God.
-
CNN and NBC and CBS and ABC are all "Leftist Occupied" 'NEWS' Stations.
Of course the Golan Heights is occupied. If it wouldn't be occupied by Israel, the radicals (with the approval and money from Hafez al Asad), would still be using those mopuntains to lauch terrorist attacks just like they did for 19 years in a row, before Israel got sick and tired of counting its dead.
Unfortunately, some of the Current members are not fully aware of the history of Israel's foundation and goals. Some people get their "news" from the New York Slimes..."All the News We Decide to Print."
-
Some current members are incorrigible troglodytes with no knowledge of history whatsoever. They don't read books or educate themselves and have no desire to know or learn. Their consciousness however has fossilised into a position where it can only accommodate wilful ignorance and hate and as such is less than human and quite evil. They are a disgrace to our species but it is important to allow them the freedom to express themselves so that the civilised and enlightened members here who care about truth and justice can see what exactly our culture is up against and know who and what the enemy is.
