The plan is so disappointing I would laugh if it wasn't going to kill people! Also, with all due respect, the First Lady's "family focused" speech urging women to speak out for change is/was ridiculous after a bill like this is in the front running. (And also considering the year it is)

After having the burden (and I guess possibility) to see that not having insurance or having your insurance suddenly cut off can kill you or a loved one, I am astonished at the placement of saving lives below the hogging of wealth a few greedy people.

This brings up lobbyists and Corporate Personhood in general. How can we expect politicians to think of us when their pockets are lined with bribes and talking points from the corporate empire?

Max is a parasite feeding off the misery of Americans who need affordable health insurance. He is a very immoral man and compromises his morals for moneyh.

Max Baucus saw himself suddently in a position of extreme power in regards to this bill. He realized that he alone has the ability to have a major say in the future of American healthcare as the leader of a particular committee in the senate. All the other committees passed the bill almost immediately, but Baucus seized on his power grab and stalled the bill for months. No doubt he has been in bed with the Insurance companies since that time. His bill he recently introduced is an absolute joke. It reads as if if was written by the CEO of Blue Cross. It gives very minor concessions to the average citizen and serves to funnel billions more to the insurance monster

To be fair, Max may legitmately be stupid and not understand just how retarded his ideas are.

That is always a possibility when dealing with politicans.
