    • if anyone has been any part of an organization, they know that the president is the representative.
      presidents usually go about giving speeches, attending functions, while the rest of the team does the work, come up with ideas & president may give suggestions, hold meetings. Presidents may not be able to acknowledge all of the team all of the time.

      But as a democracy aren't we the peple part of that team? esp. now we cannot be couch compaliners!
      we also have to do.

      and i saw some comments asking president to do and make decisions like make it easy for us so we don't have to fight for it. There is a system how legislation is done in govt, so many people will have to go around giving speeches to bring attention for things to get done.

      i think alot of people focus on the leader(whoever it happens to be) because some may not want to take responsibility in finding solutions. well anyone can comment, have opinions but it takes a little more effort to act. Obama never said he is going to solve our problems, I thought he was advocating being self reliant, self efficient, helping us learn to fish, and relearn or learn anew how to do things in a democracy.

      because i think we have been brainwashed by a few
      who made the decisions and its always easy when someone else makes the decisions for us because then we have someone to blame, now it may become our own fault if things don't pan out and i think that scares the shit out of lot of people.

      Thought his speech had a good message.
      + the speaker cannot draw out all the plans
      for a general speech, its about sharing the
      larger view, being diplomatic & moving forward.

    • Im glad to see we have so many lovers of diplomacy in this nation. Obama acknowledges the mistakes weve made in the past and what now hes an apologist? I guess we can just add that to the list of other terms being used against him. So apparently Obama is a fascist, communist, socialist, apologist, racist, non-american, kenyan, elitist messiah. Wow... im so glad we cleared that up.

The super smart News people on the left held up his book as "Proof" he was smarter than every one running against him on the left including Hilliary "who I belive at least is Proud to be an American" sa well the right..including Palin..."who at least admits to having help writing her own Book" in this Video is the "PROOF" Obama did not write his own Book...and if that does not make you mad to be Tricked and Lied to ...hers is the kicker ...it was William Ayers who actually wrote it!     • The moral obligation of one group to another group is one that is not to be decided by one man in one office, nor 200 people in one auditorium.

      I swear, it's like he's so stupid, he doesn't realize that once he became President, he was going to have to do things.

      Every time he's on television, no matter where it is, it sounds like he's just saying "We need to [ambiguous reference to peace] and ensure the [vague notion of sustainability] and never forget to [fanciful dreaming of international utopia]"

      What is it, 1215 days until someone with a spine can get into office?

      What? How has he not done anything while hes been in office? It hasnt been a year yet and hes pushing for healthcare reform, created an exit strategy for Iraq(which is ahead of schedule), signed a law that prohibits torture, sealed off Gitmo and closed several other detention facilities, passed a stimulus package, reduced taxes on 85% of the population and signed several UN rights bills among other things. What exactly did Bush get done in the same amount of time?

      Your illogical hatred of Obama blinds you to his accomplishments. Hes hardly perfect but hes got a plan and hes putting it into action.

      I'm pro Obama but i agree with about 85% wit wat ur sayin.It seems like he believes that if he gives a quick lil pep talk about peace and gettin together and forget about all ur past problemz that the world will be better. THATS NOT GUNNA HAPPEN GET SOME NEW SPEECHES!!!! Or why does America always hav to be the worlds police; thats why nobody likes us we need to let people solve their own problemz and stop brown noseing in everybody elses affairs. FOCUS ON AMERICA FIRST THEN HELP OTHER PEOPLE IF THEY WANT US TO.

      We already meddle in the affairs of Israel. In fact we give them BILLIONS of dollars a year to buy arms for "self-defense". The same weapons which were used against the terms of the treaty in Gaza a few months ago.
