Bare in mind that Russia is AT LEAST as "Russian centric" as the U.S. is self interested. They talk a good game, and there well may be new opportunities for cooperation and collaboration,...but Russia is no more "globalist" in a benevolent selfless way than France,...or Germany,...or the American empire.

This is some of the things I got out of it. A great agenda for all nations to join in. Thank you Mr. President
1. I'm glad Medvedev addressed the need to look at the global economy. To distinguish the difference between the financial markets vs the real economy.
2. Talks about global disarmament with major nations joining in this.
3. Talking about helping to develop poorer nations and having all nations becoming energy independent through the use of proven safe and reliable peaceful nuclear energy.
4. Asking for solutions for peaceful relations between nations. Using the UN for what it was intended. To have nations be heard and provide solutions to help all nations that need help.We require modern solutions. The universal principal to respect all nations and cultures and help one another. Agape.

President Medvedev addressed many valid issues including outdated resolutions, neo-Nazi, Georgia conflict and calling for united approach, international cooperation and strong UN involvement.

Interesting. Medvedev wants more international cooperation... same as Obama. I wonder if this is related to taking the missile defense systems out of Poland?
