Gaddafi's Tent on Trump's Property: Raw Video

Bedford NY officials arrived at the home early Thursday evening with a stop-work order and a criminal summons. The white-topped tent lined with a tapestry of camels and palm trees and outfitted with leather couches and coffee tables was dismantled Wednesday after town officials said it was erected without permits and Trump said he requested it be removed.
Bedford Town Attorney Joel Sachs said he'd seek a court injunction if the tent hadn't been removed by Friday. Reporters were escorted off the property Thursday before the tent was taken down. Sach's contended the city was not singling out Gadhafi to make him feel unwelcome, but would serve a summons on anyone pitching a large tent without a permit in Bedford, "We would do it if it was a resident of the town of Bedford. We would do it if it was a non resident of the town of Bedford. Even if this was the property owner."
Donald Trump said earlier Thursday that he had "no idea" that Gadhafi might be involved in a deal to rent a section of Trump's estate, a town official said.
As it turned out, the Libyan government erected a tent on Trump's Seven Springs estate for Gadhafi's use during this week's United Nations General Assembly. Townspeople and local politicians fumed about an anticipated visit from Gadhafi, and the town alleged that the tent violated local codes.
Trump's office issued a statement late Wednesday saying that he had asked his unidentified "tenant" to remove the tent, and that the tenant had complied. He and the Secret Service said Gadhafi would not be coming to Bedford.
Gadhafi addressed the U.N. General Assembly on Wednesday (September 23) and spoke to the Council on Foreign Relations on Thursday afternoon (September 24) in Manhattan. Gaddafi's requests for space to erect his tent in Central Park, Englewood, N.J., and Manhattan's Upper East Side were all rejected. Gadhafi stayed at the New York City's Libyan Mission.

man... i would think people would post some kind of educated comment on the situation, but it's jsut a bunch of negative comments toward either party...
how bout you try to come to some understanding of the situation. maybe it was more than jsut putting up a tent, or more than what this tiny bit of information states...
all of us should know the twists that are made on stories, and that we arent gonna get all the facts...
stop the hate,
peace&much

has it excaped all logic here that although we find him to be a savage barbarian he is a member of the un wich we have here.
would youy really expect that who gets to be a representative for every country in the un is subject to our president.
the whole point is for enemy states to have a place to talk instead of fight.
i just wonder how donald trump will continue to be the republican whore he has been while providing a place for shelter for a self professed enemy of us.
even though its patriotic depth is in question does donald trump still get to run the miss america pagent? - 5 months ago

Hey,.....this story is basically about "a camping permit",....not the political legacy of Gadhafi. Amusing,..........but thats about it. Now if that old mad dog of an Arab had a son on the same grounds, we could talk about the pup's tent.

Does anyone realize that Libya was the only country with the stones big enough to order hits on dissidents in the US in the 1980s? No other country, not even Russia, CUba, N Korea, etc., was willing to do that.
Does anyone on this site realize how the US discovered AQ Khan and the Paki nuke network? Qaddafi gave it up AFTER Bush invaded Iraq. But now our President is his new BFF...

I guess a hotel is too much capitalism for him. Sad. I don't see what the fuss is about with the tent, except that the US media is playing right into HIS PLANS, it's not that grand or exceptional.
It actually makes him look little and poor. And ignorant as he cannot handle himself in a host country during a UN meeting. As at the UN one should try to get to know other nations by being near other delegates, not staying in a freaking tent. And trying to be a News story!
Did someone not get enough attention from mommy?
