Warner Bros. Planning Remake of Lesbian Classic 'The Hunger'
Blockbuster film studio Warner Bros. is reportedly working on a remake of the classic vampire film The Hunger. The original film, based on the book by Whitley Strieber, featured Catherine Deneuve as a bisexual vampire and is widely regarded as a lesbian cult classic.

I cannot express enough how much I hate what Hollywood is doing with all the remakes - "Here! Let us REMAKE this into TOTAL CRAP!".
This is nothing more than exploitation of the current vampire trend (barf) and lesbian chic.
Casting anyone else for a Catherine Deneauve role is insulting.

I have to agree with you there dengx2 - that movie WAS Catherine. Some classic movies should just stay that - classic and one-of-a-kind.
