you can't reform a kid like this he is beyond saving and there is no excuse for rape! I stand by my first statement! the little scumbag and his friends deserve it! mad dogs are put down and they are mad dogs maybe a lethal injection is the answer here!

I am sick and tired of children being tried as adults. Obviously this kid needs help, not incarceration.

the nine year old was obviously influenced by the others, but in his involvement he already had the thought in his head that what he was doing was acceptable. if the child already has behavior problems prior than i would agree with being tried as an adult.
despite what he's done, nobody deserves to get raped

9 years old or not he,and the others involved, should be sent to an adult prison where they will be raped over and over again, and its what they deserve! that poor little girl will be traumatized for life because of the actions of these scumbag little rapists and they must pay!

Dude no. He doesn't know what's going on enough and I garentee you too influenced by the older kids to make an informed decision. Should not be tried, but certainly reformed.

The older two should definately get charged with rape, the 9 year old is a tough call. I pray for the little girl more than anything, its a terrible thing to occur.

The 14 year old (for sure) and the 13 year old (possibly) raped this girl. But a 9 year old boy? I don't think a 9 year old has an erection for any reason other than holding too much pee (morning wood).

i have to say that the rape of this poor girl was heinous and revolting and is nothing short of a tragedy. but in my opinion, nine years old is just way too young to have any concept of consequences of their actions. both consequences for the girl, and consequences for their criminal behavior. i'd say the younger boys were following the lead of the 14 year old. i really see this as a case of bullying, (from the perspective of the younger boys), as opposed to a sexually deviant act. all the rapists in this case should be held accountable, but i sincerely believe the two 9 year olds should be treated in a pediatric psychiatric facility, to at least give them a chance at life. go ahead and throw the 14 year old to the lions. he knew what he was doing.

Theres noone to blame here but the parents. If your 9 year old son is not doing homework already, getting into fights and gang raping children you know you totally fucked up as a parent. The child should be punished as a kid and taken away from his parents.
