Thankyou for your great work in helping with the international boycott movement against the state of Israel and its apartheid policies. We were successful against apartheid S Africa and it's the only option left against Israel. For over six decades now successive Israeli governments have been dispossessing Palestinians of the land and buildings they have lived in for centuries, colonizing them and slaughtering them. The state of Israel pretends to talk peace while it grabs more Palestinian land, destroys Palestinian infrastructure, imposes clearly apartheid policies and practices, continues to illegally colonize and dispossess (West Bank, Esat Jerusalem, the Sinai, the Negev), imprisons thousands of democratically elected Palestinian politicians, not to mention children and civic protesters who dare to speak out, carrying out decades of slaughter of Palestinians (the latest massacre was in the Gaza , which has suffered an illegal siege and blockade for years and where as recently as this year 1500 Palestinians were murdered by the Israeli military invasion, including over 800 women and children, and 5000 injured, of whom 1900 became disabled, not to mention the massive destruction of buildings and infrastructure including hospitals, schools, UN compounds, etc, etc.
As Israeli historian Illan Pappe writes this is the ethnic cleansing of Palestinian society. Why? Because they are the indigenous inhabitants of the land. - 4 months ago

Wonder why the Muslim "de-shelvers" bear such an uncanny resemblence to Nazi storm-troopers defacing Jewish property?
Muslim Judeophobia is not—as is commonly claimed— A REACTION to the Mideast conflict - but ONE OF ITS MAIN "ROOT CAUSES".
It has been fueling Arab rejection of a Jewish state - long before Israel's creation.
Muhammad, the founder of Islam, traveled to Medina in 622 A.D. to attract followers to his new faith. When the Jews of Medina refused to recognize Muhammad as their Prophet, two of the major Jewish tribes were expelled.
In 627, Muhammad's followers killed between 600 and 900 of the men, and divided the surviving Jewish women and children amongst themselves.
The Muslim attitude toward Jews is reflected in various verses throughout the Koran, the holy book of the Islamic faith. "They [the Children of Israel] were consigned to humiliation and wretchedness. They brought the wrath of God upon themselves, and this because they used to deny God's signs and kill His Prophets unjustly and because they disobeyed and were transgressors" (Sura 2:61). According to the Koran, the Jews try to introduce corruption (5:64), have always been disobedient (5:78), and are enemies of Allah, the Prophet and the angels (2:97-98).
Jews were generally viewed with contempt by their Muslim neighbors; any peaceful coexistence between the two groups involved the subordination and degradation of the Jews. In the ninth century, Baghdad's Caliph al-Mutawakkil designated a yellow badge for Jews, setting a precedent that would be followed centuries later in Nazi Germany.
In the Mideast, Nazis were not only popular during but also after the war—scores of them found refuge in the Arab world, including Eichman's deputy, Alois Brunner, who escaped to Damascus.
The German war criminals became trusted military and security advisers in the region, particularly of Nazi sympathizer Gamal Nasser, then Egypt's president. The Jerusalem Mufti al Husseini himself escaped to Egypt in 1946. Far from being shunned for his Nazi past, he was elected president of the National Palestinian Council.
The mufti was at the forefront of pushing the Arabs to reject the 1948 United Nations partition plan and to wage a "war of destruction" against the fledgling Jewish state. His great admirer, Yasser Arafat, would later succeed him as Palestinian leader.

"The Real Obstacle to Middle East Peace? Let’s Check the Record" by Joseph Puder, a freelance journalist, the founder and executive director of the Interfaith Taskforce for America and Israel (ITAI).
At the second Camp David summit convened by President Clinton in July 2000, Israel’s Prime Minister Ehud Barak offered Yasser Arafat a package most thought he could not refuse: 94 percent of the West Bank and Gaza, with the remaining 6 percent to be taken from Israel’s territory; giving East Jerusalem to the Palestinians; and incorporating some flexibility on refugees. Clinton enthusiastically backed the Israeli concessions and used all of his charm to point out to Arafat the unique opportunity being made available to the Palestinians.
Arafat declined. He refused to sign an agreement calling for the “end of conflict” between Israel and the Palestinians. He hastily departed Camp David and less than a month later launched the second intifada.
Arafat declined Barak and Clinton’s generous offer in July 2000 because he would not know what do in the context of peace. As a typical Arab dictator, he wouldn’t get involved in such “inglorious tasks” as providing housing for the refugees, creating a functioning and transparent economy, and dealing with opposition parties. Arafat enjoyed the glory of the revolutionary fighter and being the “rais” — the boss. In the context of peace, Arafat and then Abbas demonstrated their apathy for the miserable conditions of most Palestinians. The tedious, day-to-day job of nation-building and addressing social and economic problems was not the line of work either Arafat or Abbas chose for themselves.
Arab dictatorships from Egypt to Syria do not strive for peace because they are not ready to tackle the problems that democratic governments must handle. These dictators seek absolute power over their people. Peace with Israel would mean that the single external scapegoat the Arab dictators have used since 1948 would be gone, and now they would have to deliver a better life for their people or be gone as well. Mubarak, Assad, Arafat, and Abbas are or were ready for that. Moreover, for Arafat and Abbas, the goal has not been to rule over a tiny state, but to destroy the Jewish state and reclaim it as Palestine.
the Palestinian Authority and the Arab countries are failed states — civil and human rights do not exist, religious freedom exists only for Muslims, and economic transparency is a distant dream.
It is less than genuine for President Obama to declare that “Jewish settlements” are obstacles to peace, when Abbas would not even make a goodwill gesture of recognizing Israel as the Jewish state.
The only obstacle to peace in the Middle East is the nature of Arab and Palestinian regimes. Only the installation of democracy, human rights, religious freedom, and economic transparency in the Arab (Palestinian) sphere can deliver a lasting peace, and Obama is clearly not pursuing such a goal.

Sorry, my pacifist friend, this is not a step towards peace - it's a step towards raising Islamism's global acceptance through branding itself as the underdog/victim by pariah-fying Israel through malignment, blood-libel, delegitimization.
The Arabs hired Goebbels' propaganda manager, Josef van Leers, to impart the techniques to carry on the crusade.
Brush-up on your history of anti-Semitism for political advantage. It typically works out to the detriment of the molified Gentiles.

The Palestinian cause is really not operating on that level of warfare. It's just not. You can throw as many fancy words at it as you like.
Human rights abuses condemned by the UN. OCCUPATION. Cases against Israel going to warcrimes tribunal. About as much as anyone really needs to know. I applaud you for being able to dream up such a spin on it but really.
If it takes going into a supermarket and spelling it out in simple terms, then that's sad, but I for one am glad someone's doing it. Onya.

Liberals - don't be misled by these radicals attempting to mischaracterize the Arab-Israeli conflict.
Any "oppressing" of Palestinian society comes at the hands of ITS own fascistic, repressive, Jew-hating, Islamist leadership. Hamas is backed by Iran, and their goal is to maintain CONFLICT (not peace) with Israel (as is the malignful, radical group of this video who stages blood-libels about Israel) as this video demonstrates.
Keep Islamism (political Islamic theocracy) from social and cultural ascension within Western culture.
