Hybrid cars once applauded for their green credentials, are now getting slagged off for being a dangerous hazard. But critics do seem to have a point.Hybrid cars are just too quiet, and that means kids could get hurt, having not heard the approaching menace and obviously we want to avoid that. Manufacturers of electrically-powered cars are planning to add a fake "vroom vroom " sound to the cars to try and avoid this potentially fatal flaw in the eco-friendly cars.
Custom-made engine sound effects are being tipped to be the next must-have accessory for the 21st century driver.

LAMO imagine that having ringtones for your car, could you ever think for one minute as if your walking the down the street and hearing poker face, let's dance, talk or even 4 minutes in a parked car on the opposite side of the road

I thought the idea was to save the kids not force them to commit suicide.

Could they not think of something more original than vroom vroom? Maybe they should play out the grandstand theme or something?
