On this special hour-long Embedded, Mos Def takes us on an all access seven-day tour of Japan while he performs his new album "The Ecstatic" to packed venues in Tokyo and Osaka.

In an exclusive outtake, Mos talks about just what it would take to get him and the other half of his Black Star duo, Talib Kweli, back in the studio for another album. (After this clip, the two made a surprise performance at a benefit concert with another Embedded artist, Common.)

Current Music Presents: Embedded is a six part special that puts you on the ground and behind the scenes with unrivaled access to your favorite musicians. We've traveled the world, going beyond performances to bring you the most intimate and unfiltered moments in artists' lives. When others stop the cameras, we capture the real story of today's top musicians.

    • PLEASE!!!
I have so much faith in Mos' respect for the art. I have no doubt that a new Black Star album would not be a cash in but the farther thing from it. (please) I know that it is very unlikely but I cant see any negative to it apart from the constraint of commitment. The sales and attention the would get together would be at least double what they get appart.

Just because you thought you would only sleep with her once doesn't mean that you can't go back for more. Especially, if she's the best you ever had.
