- Apps are software, that's all. The iPhone is the next evolution in computers. Pocket computers are the future and they are now: cell phones, iPhones, PSPGo, Nintendo Ds, etc. People will still use regular computers. But apps show that software and usability can fit into a small package. Don't be surprised if everything in your office, home, car, and city will one day come with apps and all be connected to wireless networks.
