Well, I certainly wasn't expecting to see this little scene. But it's just like when you walk past a fence with a hole in it, makes it almost impossible not to stop and take a little peep through the hole to see what's in there. So, of course, I did! The photograph is just wonderful, the soft hues of the glass and the subtle treatment with the depth of field. It's a sublime touch of inspiration from everyday life.-

As a painter, when I see a picture such as this one I become aware of how much the photographer's perspective, with his acute selection of visual perfection and mood, is as much a painter's as a painter's perspective is that of a photographer. I very much appreciate these carefully chosen works of art.
