Police were called to Partington Leisure Centre, Trafford, shortly before 2.30pm on Monday 19 October, after an alarm went off.
Three men are thought to have been attempting to steal money from a security van parked outside.
As they tried to make their escape in a black BMW, they appear to shunt a police van out of the way, apparently knocking an officer to the ground and then running him over.
Well sometimes it seems police officers have no care for human life (in the case of Ian Tomlinson, G20 protests, The soldier back from Iraq who was beaten by police and so on)
and it seems like they had no care for a police officers life, whats the world coming to? people will do anything for money!

This is terrible what is happening in the UK today but to say police officers have no care for human life is also in poor taste, I hope these idiots are caught & given a sentence they deserve however I think it would possibly be community service as we have some weak willed judges here.
