I like it! Still working with it, and even an old codger like me can use it.

1) Glad to see that we can remove groups that don't fit even if we're not the owner.
2) I don't like that there isn't a designated spot for the main URL. This means that you don't have to put a source for something and it also means that we're going to have the link in the body of the story which looks repetitive and silly.
3) I don't use tags anymore, but I do wish getting to groups was easier. I'm a member of so many and some articles belong in 10+ groups. I'd like to see a list of groups I'm in with check boxes next to them so I can just flash through and categorize the story.
I like change, but I'm not sure if this is going to make that much of a difference.

that made me laugh so hard.....hahaha. Good sense of humor.
-
Maybe I'm blind and don't see where it is when I submit a story---but where is the invite tool like before?
-
@mario... could you find room near the top for choosing a following page of comments when the number of comments gets big? maybe a slim line right under "# comments...."?
cheers!

This simplified, streamlined design looks nice. But I agree with Nettle about having a designated spot for the main URL instead of having to place it in the body of the story, which seems unnecessary. I'd rather have the URL field back.
-
I'm with Nettle.
I don't like that there isn't a spot for the URL. Now the link shows up twice. I thought there was two different links above and clicked on them both.
I also want to be able to post a story to multiple groups at the same time.
The add video/image/webcam button hasn't been working well for me, maybe it's just me.
I do like what has been done to the Choose Media For Your Post. It's great.

nooooooo!! I fear change!!!!!!! lol jk.
...
its kinda like just turning the old page upside down, inverted even.(that, or I'm intoxicated.)
o well, follow the white rabbit. -
When I tried to post in the comedy group the advert field underneath was imposed over the post field and would not go away. Covered about 1/3 of the field.

I think it would be cool if we could group our contacts so that when a certain story comes up we just have to click on that group without having to click on all their photos.
-
Is there a limit on text? So far there doesn't seem to be.
I like it though.
-
Mario_a I just posted a new story:
http://current.com/items/91318707_the-true-cost-of-cheap-christmas-presents.htmbut the link connects to the Organic group instead of linking to the news.
How do I edit the link?
Thanks-

It's nice that it pops up right where you are, but when I tried it from the homepage, I couldn't see the lower right part of the form because the ad was in the way. So I couldn't post.
-
I also pasted the news link in the description but I don't get yet the link showing on top.

Once you post a story, there does not seem to be any way to edit or add an image.

To Mario_a:
I clicked on the edit button, "replace asset" and it pulls two images regarding this news.
No matter which one I choose, none of them will show the news link on top.
It only shows the current link, when you click on it it redirects you to the same page.
How do I work around this?
Thank you-

I got it.
But does this mean that we have to copy and paste the news link on the description section?-

The news link is showing on top now.
What I understood is that we now have to copy and paste the news link in the description section otherwise it will not show on top.
Am I correct? It's just a bit repetitive as it will show twice now.
Thanks for your help.-
