Neocon Ex-Congressman & His ‘Laundering’ Business in Afghanistan
http://www.boilingfrogspost.com/2009/11/02/neocon-ex-congressman-his-%E2%80%98la...As the bodies in Afghanistan are piling up and the number of wounded keeps escalating, while Washington is buzzing with the long-known but selectively-buried corrupt and criminal past and present of our installed government officials there, some are cashing in on both sides, and some are paving the way to the next pot(s) of gold reserved for carpetbaggers and war-profiteers in every war or conflict. In this game there are always a few known names and faces who are publicized and who draw the spotlight, and there are those who enjoy operating and profiting quietly without drawing deserved attention and needed scrutiny. That’s how Washington’s war and conflict machine works, and that’s the way our foreign policy decisions are influenced and made. I am going to introduce one such character as an introduction to my upcoming longer story on this same topic. Ladies and gentlemen please meet our Neocon Ex Congressman, Don Ritter, and be informed of his new lucrative ‘Laundering Business’ in Afghanistan. http://donritter.org/bio.htm
For the real juice on Mr. Ritter’s business dealings, my highly informed sources point me to Afghanistan’s current Defense Minister Abdul Rahim Wardak. The Afghan diaspora in DC name Wardak as one of the key figures in the highly lucrative Poppy & heroin market; albeit in hushed voices. I can’t fathom the feasibility and profitability of a laundry and dry-cleaning business in Afghanistan owned and operated by a Neocon former congressman. What is Mr. Ritter ‘laundering?’ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdul_Rahim_Wardak
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly. But the traitor moves among those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not traitor, he speaks in the accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their garments, and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared." - Cicero, 42 B.C.

Brother of Afghan Leader Is Said to Be on C.I.A. Payroll
http://current.com/items/91304647_brother-of-afghan-leader-is-said-to-be-on-c-i-...Report: Taliban trying to turn US troops into heroin addicts
http://current.com/items/91239450_report-taliban-trying-to-turn-us-troops-into-h..."The history of mankind is a history of the subjugation and exploitation of a great majority of people by an elite few by what has been appropriately termed the 'ruling class'. The ruling class has many manifestations. It can take the form of a religious orthodoxy, a monarchy, a dictatorship of the proletariat, outright fascism, or, in the case of the United States, corporate statism. In each instance the ruling class relies on academics, scholars and 'experts' to legitimize and provide moral authority for its hegemony over the masses." : Ed Crane

There is no way for this to end well at this stage. There are no good options. If we had not detoured with troops and treasure to unnecessary Iraq, perhaps it might have been different. This is a lost cause. Keep propping up corrupt dictators as we have done in S. America. This is a no win, no how..

After all the deals were cut, this was the announcement? Watch for Obama's Afghanistan troop decision AFTER the NJ and Virginia elections this week.
