So what do I as a user actually do with a developing story? Do I add updates to the comments section or add it to the body of the story?

I cant post because a mini advertisement is covering the submit button and I cant move the window. Also can't find 'developing stories' in my group add to list

Voted up. I posted at the link, but I guess I will post here too...
I think this is an interesting idea. I cannot help but wonder if ’scoops’, which I think will happen often, will introduce a challenge for viewers to keep up with a story. Just a thought.

I like this idea a lot, but have 1 question.How are you going to screen the stories, to make sure the content is true, real, reliable & not propaganda? Just curious....

Couldn't you abbreviate - "CDS" to tag instead of "Current Developing Stories"??
