I rooted for the Cubs. They never win.

Is it weird that that's one of the main reasons I like watching baseball games on TV? I'm fascinated by this sport, all the stats through the history. I love looking at the box score of games too.

HAHAH

my favorite sport, but yea it can drag on, gotta find something to talk about.

It's a non-linear sport (no goal lines, no clocks running, etc). Good for the brain in this megasecond , nano world where speed is everything. It's also better than watching people on TV who THINK they're acting cool and hip and awesome, but who are actually pretty dull and unfunny

Are you kidding me? Have you ever been to a pro football game? TV timeouts, play stoppages and instant replay stoppages. I'm lucky that I live in Indianapolis and all our games are sold out and televised. I went last year to the Colts vs Ravens game and I was bored out of my mind. I watch football on TV all the time and I love it, but going to the stadium and dealing with traffic, parking, dealing with drunk vulgar idiots who have been drinking since 8 am in the parking lot, then all of the stoppages. Football is better on TV. Hitting a baseball in pro baseball is the hardest thing to do in pro sports. If you get up to bat 10 times and get on base 3 times that is Hall of Fame material. If you catch only 3 catches out of 10 thrown to you, your not gonna be in the league very long. If you only hit 3 out of 10 shots in basketball, you'll be playing at the local YMCA only. The only stoppages of play in baseball is between innings. Sure its slow, but there is always that battle between pitcher and batter. The charm of baseball is going to the park with friends or family, smelling the grass, able to talk about the game without missing anything. I too love the Cubs and keep on hoping they will win a pennant someday.
