I wouldn't doubt it. Though I think that most people did not start using email because it was greener.

i am highly doubtful of the title. I imagine i will be told that the electricity it takes to keep the computer on is more of a problem than the trees being cut down to produce the paper and the vehicles being revved up to transport said paper. But right off the bat, email sounds better hands down.

that blog made no sense to me. maybe it's the 5 beers I've had, but it seems to be all over the place with random statistics. i stand by my original conviction.

I shared this because it makes you realize the full impact of computer usage and data storage. However, I have no problem admitting that I would much rather continue using e-mail than ever going back to snail mail. Perhaps if snail mail for contact becomes obsolete, it will become the offset for everyone moving to e-mail communication.
