First time hearing of this story. It sounds comical.

Didn't she say NO COPS!? She needs to divorce that asshole for putting her life in jeopardy. :D

Yeah, taking the 'Lithium makes me feel like I'm not alive, it stunts my high.... Of course I get more done without it'. She surely doesn't look manic it that picture, of course it could be an extreme rouse to look undone....
We'll just have to see how this plays out. She does have a little smile on her face but her eyes look dead. I'm not sure about this....we'll just have to watch, and of course MFT will keep us updated! Thank you for this crasy story.

I'm wondering about the tape..... WHY is there an audiotape, and who made it? This is the day of sex videos, where it's common for couples to film themselves having sex, but who TAPES themselves? It's also odd that she lived in a $4 million home yet the "kidnapper" only asked for $50,000, an amount that some may consider a mere drop in the bucket to someone who can afford a $4 million home.

I think it might turn out that a jury will not buy that there even WAS a kidnapping, merely a woman (crazy or not) having an affair and trying to get money out of hubby for her boyfriend. Depending on what the tape says it may be possible that the boyfriend will be able to prove the whole thing was the woman's idea and doing, and SHE'LL be going to jail for extortion.

Im wondering if her manic phase was a direct result of her refusing to take her medication........ Its probably even more likely she has been mis-diagnosed and has been running this gammut of unnacountability for a long time.......

In my humble opinion, it has a great appearance of being a set up
for both sex friend (claiming forced sex)and husband(claiming abuse) to be entrapped ,jailed etc., and after the claims,
She makes away with all the funds ,
Heads for an island in the sun
And not have to be on the run.

Once her husband realizes that his support for his wife and disbelief that she is capable of such heartless actions he will not be laughing... He may end up to be blamed for the whole thing.

Fame is addictive..........................

It is the ever growing phenomena of "treat the woman, imprison the man." from Andrea Yates to Debra Lafave to Hofstra to Duke, etc. Women screw up and get a pat on the hand and some counseling and the men around them take all the heat. The outcome of most of these cases is a given before they start. Criminal women are just in need of counseling because all their misdeeds are blamed on the big, bad men around them. And the men find themselves accused and behind bars whether they did anything or not.

There is an expression for people who actually think it is women that are disadvantaged in this culture:

This woman tried to rip off her husband, then HE stands by her, and as usual the male of the species goes to jail because he is male and poor. Women should do all crime, they never go to jail for it. Just squirt out a few kids first and what cop would orphan them that way?

OMG that is so funny. She takes gold digging to it's highest level and still has her husband whipped.

They should all receive prison time for wasting the police's time.

The court will probably give her the kids and a hefty alimony settlement too.

This woman had (has?) a 4 million dollar house.. im sure both hubby & her are in debt up to the Gillys, it could be a set up job by both.. the whole idea that there is a tape of lovemaking & talk of the Kidnapping with the lover AKA patsie.. well who knows.. & if you put in the Psych factor. its up for grabs.. Steward may be right.. sounds alot like Law & Order.. im waiting for the last five minute twist.. maybe it was the KIDS ? "DUNN DUNN"

I am curious about the outcome of this case. I predict this woman will go free and her lover will serve a prison sentence for kidnapping. Will this woman be treated as another abused woman-victim who was taken advantage of as her defense suggests or will she face the consequences?

It's a woman's prerogative to change her mind, right?
