A Texas kindergarten teacher is refusing to undergo fingerprint identification because of her religious beliefs. Pam McLaurin, a 22 year veteran school teacher, claims fingerprinting constitutes "the Mark of the Beast", and violates her first amendment rights to freedom of religion.

Should there be a religious exception for fingerprint ID requirements?

The woman sounds like a borderline schizophrenic. Anyone who takes the Mark of the Beast thing seriously should not be trusted with children.

Big brother is the beast. This fingerprinting is part of their implementation of a police state. They exploit parent's fears by blasting missing children reports etc. their goal is a dumbified work force that is easy to control.

I guess she really doesn't want to continue teaching very much, does she?

On the other hand, I wouldn't let her anywhere near my kids.

The mark of the beast thing is a bit too far, but what do you expect from a religious person, personally though I wouldn't mind being religious, I'd use my religious beliefs as a way to try and get away with a few things, I'd do a Beyonce and dress like a hooker, but it's fine cos i'm a christian!
