The recently found version of the episode, titled “Where No Man Has Gone Before,” also includes different theme music and closing credits, according to a press release issued Friday. Obtained from Magic Picture Home Entertainment, the alternative version will be just one of the bonus features on the $119 Blu-ray set, which hits stores Dec. 15.

Gene and Majel Roddenberry were dear friends when i was a kid here in La Costa. Gene Roddenberry was a wonderful man and Majel beautiful as well as a great golfer. I am glad the the star trek Legacy is alive and well..

I want that for Christmas! The original is still the best. Cheezy special effects or not, this is the progressive future we all still wish for. I am getting pretty jaded with special effect extravaganzas where each scene is an excuse for more computerized explosions and flying debris.
