Cao represents a working class very diverse area, and his constituants want a public option. The old fat tea baggers generally are in the upper 1 to 5 percent.

If this is the best the tea-baggers can come up with their "movement" is not going to last long.
They would have been much better served to have made a precise and scathing entry under criticisms that called him out for something like "working against the fundamental principles of the republican party".
Sadly though they would have probably just confused the issue with talk of socialism, fascism, Marxism, and chairman Mao so...
I have said it before and I will say it again until the GOP learns to engage in intelligent debate and offers real alternative solutions (instead of BS lips service) they will not be taken seriously by the vast majority of voters.
In the end they are only teabagging themselves.

I watched a news interview with Cao and this morning and he said he agreed to vote for it only if they removed federal funding for abortion first.
