You obviously didn't read the source for the article. The Windows 7 is representative of PC's, which is what these viruses infect. If you read the source article, you would also know that they never specifically mention the names of the viruses themselves, just that an Associated Press investigation found plenty of instances where this was happening.
There is also a litany of other evidence contained within the source article. This one is merely commentary on the information that was presented.

That it so fucked up...
I was wondering why the windows 7 logo was there though.. I mean just because it affects pcs doesnt mean they should tie it to windows 7. That might be misleading people into fearing that windows 7 makes them vulnerable and other versions are safe.-
