Republican National Committee's health plan covers ELECTIVE ABORTION

Image...
The health insurance plan offered to employees of the Republican National Committee includes coverage for elective abortions, a fact that could compromise the party's insistence that abortion be left out of any health care reform measure.
Since 1991, the RNC -- the group that co-ordinates Republican activities at the national level -- has been on a health insurance plan from insurer Cigna that offers elective abortion coverage, and the RNC signed up for the coverage even though it was an optional part of the package, says a report at Politico.

Lovely. The hypocrisy is just exquisite.
I would love to know how many Repugs female family members took advantage of this very generous coverage.

Why are the Republicans hypocritical on all issues?

Shouldn't this be a breaking story, given the nature of the restrictions on perfectly legal women's medical procedures in the health reform bill?
CNN is covering the abortion component of the debate on the box at this very moment as I type, yet fails to mention this outrageous hypocrisy.

Well, they are known for having sex with boys, but hate gays and now this.... They contradict everything that they stand for, I think it's pretty clear we are seeing what they truly stand for....

If this doesn't open some people's eyes as to their hypocrisy with the teabaggers and opposition of the insurance reform, I can't imagine what will. Obvious to me that their feigned outrage, and heels dug in party of "No", has only one purpose and that is to divide and incite fear so they can regain the Whitehouse. This is too transparent for anyone to think otherwise.

The RNC's health plan covers what the Democratic bill passed by the House does not? Oh, the irony......

I was hoping that somebody would post this. Isn't this so typical of the leaders of the Republican party for years they have been fooling the followers and this proves how blind they are.
