Rudy Giuliani talks on Fox News about the NY terror trial. This is despite his comments after the trials for the terrorists of the '93 wtc attack. Bloomberg disagrees, but what do you think?

    • Having someone in charge of the military with litttle to no military experience is like having a President with little to no political experi... err, wait a sec...

There is nothing in his career that suggests that he is the man for this season. In a time of war he has no military experience. In a time of looming financial disaster, he has no economic credentials. In a time of international diplomacy, he has no judgment....

There is an old adage that says, “Tell me who your friends are and I will tell who you are.” Doesn't the quality of Obama’s friends and associates tell us about the man? Shouldn't we look at the history of this man to ascertain his truthfulness?

One characteristic of cult of personality is that people become ready to close their eyes. They find excuses and rationalize the sins of their leader....just as the liberals do to this moment.

What Obama is? a pathological narcissist...and you ain't seen nothing yet....!

You didn't tell me shit. -_-

I love how you guys make your assertions as if they were self-evident.It's just so adoringly pompous.

Militarily, we aren't any worse off than we were during the last administration. We have both more troops and more money going into defense, not to mention the same Secretary of Defense.

Economically, we're now on an upward slope rather than a downward slope. Both the Dow and our GDP have already started to rise again. An unreasonable crisis of confidence born out of apocalyptic sensationalism is not the executive branch's fault.

With regard to international relations, we are unquestionably at a better standing with the rest of the world. Russia and the US are finally warming relations and working towards a nuclear non-proliferation, and China and the US are seeing more cooporation and pragmatism. Both Myanmar and Somalia are now both being given incentives to improve the conditions of their people, rather than the former status quo of neglect. Say what you want about Iran, but we now have the upper hand with regard to international credibility.

Of course, telling you the facts won't change your mind. I don't even know why I bother.

    • Rudy Giuliani is dead on. It sickens me to hear Obama (or NOT hear Obama) talking about the war, never mentioning who we're fighting, making believe that what's happened, and is STILL happening thanks to Hasan, is not what we KNOW it to be.... an ISLAMIC terrorist war against the west..... US.

Failing to recognize or admit the truth doesn't lessen or change the truth. Giuliani is absolutely CORRECT. WHY would we bring those particular war criminals to NY? Why not bring everybody? This administration has its head in the clouds, living in Liberal La-La Land where they imagine everything to be warm and fuzzy.

    • Total denial of this heinous Jihadi terrorist is in fact symptomatic of the commonly inadequate thinking (extrinsic catatonia?) on the part of our spineless p/c politicians.

These wanton murders could have been averted if our political leadership and the mainstream media, were not blinded by an abysmal ignorance of the true nature of Islam.

      * “A pioneer Islamist ideologue said the following about the West’s inability to face the challenge of Islam: -> ‘While we are able to fight democracy from within; democracy, on the other hand, cannot fight Islam, or at least, it cannot openly admit that.’

There is, in fact, a great ignorance of/or indifference to this whole subject in democratic societies. This is due at least in part that general reluctance of the mainstream media to subject to Jihadis to a searching scrutiny it deserves.

A frequently followed practice by political leaders has been to practice the self deceptive art of denial in an attempt to avoid direct confrontation with the ideology of Islam.

Denial is an unrealistic hope that the problems created by Muslim terrorists are not serious, and they will just go away by appeasement and surrender.

Denial is not a rational option. The practice of denial increases the risk of greater destruction, death and chaos.

With the left throwing flowers to all msm as the panacea of enlightenment, (except for Fox news - with Obama trying to silence them), you think that the GOP controls the media?. . . what a ridiculous observation.

You have to mention all the good and all the bad. You cannot ignore either when speaking of politicians. Don't be like the haters who wrote about Abraham Lincoln in the past who now look like a fool for being so angry.

Oh right. He "cleaned up" all the homeless and poor and those most in need by shipping them forcibly out of the city, arresting themm, and violating their basic rights as human beings.

As long as the businesses of the city profit and Rudy gets some credit, it's fine. Right?

Actually, it is the stupid people of America that elected the fools of today into our current administration, and the idiots that persist in denying the reality of Islams jihad objectives barely have much ability, if any, to correlate the current state of world affairs as a results of Islams clandestine influences.
They have only to observe Europe's turmoil as the direct result of capitulation and appeasement to Muslims. . .
Oh wait, that's right, they believe that it couldn't possibly happen here could it?
Oh yeah,9/11 is just a distant bad memory, and Ft Hood was just an aberration, right?. . .Fools!

Jammer, why would Obama need to make a public speech about an atrocity that happened 8 years ago with our situation today? So he can be flamed for brooding over it and not focusing on current events?

It's one thing to not use it because you don't have to.

It's a totally different matter when he makes a rule that they will not use the term period.

Obama's Homeland Security adviser made that comment.

NPR is a great source of information.

    • There is an Islamic war against western civilization and we, the USA, are considered the center of the western culture that is eroding the Islamic way of life. It trickles into their culture and gives women and children hope of freedom from total male dominated oppression.
Just turn on any TV channel, and you will see opulent self-gratification. You can witness these egotistic, arrogant 'reality' TV shows.,Watch one of the talk shows for airing everyones dirty laundry. No wonder the Islamic want us eradicated, if they think we are ALL ignorant self-centered and spoiled children. Look at the rich and famous in LA-LA land... another example of horrors we could live without. Having the 911 terrorists' trial in NYC only reinforces this horrible image to these criminals as they are driven through NYC streets.
Does Obama know this? If he does he doesn't care, he was raised Islamic in his early life.

No one is lumping over one billion people into a single fundamentalist category. We WILL, however, lump the 10%plus who ARE fundamentalists. Gee, how many MILLIONS are there?

    • The GOP is the worst.

They have no ideas and block any ideas that anyone else has to fix some of the fundamental problems we face as a nation and then they fear monger, shouting about terrorism and how the democrats can't keep us safe to try to scare people into voting for them. It is a disgusting and shameful tactic they have used since 9/11 and Rudy is the worst of the worst.

Of course Obama understands that there is a radical Islamic element that has declared war against us.

What the extreme right in this country does not seem to understand is that:

      a) That radical Islamic element has declared war on everyone that does not adhere to an extreme Islamic doctrine.

      b) Not all Muslims are part of that radical Islamic extreme.

      c) Obama is at least doing a better job keeping us safe than the last administration did.

Obama doesn't get it or he wouldn't, have DOJ people supporting CAIR, be clueless as to what happened and why at Ft Hood, be impotent in regards to Hezbollah and Hamas' backer, be funding the Taliban and Hamas, be a moral equivocator, have bowed to the Saudi King, have allowed DHS to stop using the term terrorism and instead use "man caused disaster," etc. etc.

What in the name of GOD are you ranting about?!? Who are YOU to judge what Obama does or does not know?? Do you call and speak with him? Are you a friend of the of the family? Do you work in his office? Funding the Taliban?? Moral equivocator?? Bowed to the Saudi King (hell Bush KISSED and HELD HANDS with the Saudi King!!)
You are just another ranting crazy who doesn't have a CLUE about what is going on ANYWHERE or WHY. I'm confident your idea of diplomacy would be to bomb first and ask questions later. We had a president for eight painful years who thought just like you did and what did it get us; Iraq, Afghanistan, torture, Katrina, 9/11, economic collapse, world condemnation, a corrupted Justice Department, the outing of a CIA operative, environmental degradation, loss of consumer protections, illegal spying etc. I don't know your political affiliation for certain by you sound like another run-of-the-mill crackpot conservative who simply can't accept the fact that America rejected everything you stand for. Go away!

So wait a minute. Quit acting like this is so confusing.

"Rudy Giuliani: "President Obama Doesn't Get The Fact That There's An Islamic War Against Us!"

I say that is not true and you ask me what I am talking about?

Please. It is pretty simple. This bullshit is just more of the same old tired ass GOP "The democrats are soft on terror" propaganda.

Of course Obama knows that there is an Islamic fundamentalist element that works to destroy us. He is the one reading the security briefings in the White House every morning.

In fact I would be willing to bet that he knows more than a little bit more about it than Rudy does.

That B.O. may have more information isn't the issue, having the courage to take necessary actions to deal with it rather than searching for a means to p/c whitewash the problem, is. . . .
