How does the new game blend fiction with history and real historical figures?Well, the big one is Leonardo Da Vinci. Leonardo Da Vinci is a really fascinating character and he’s a great guy to have in a videogame. He’s going to kind of like be like your Q in the game, coming up with your new inventions, creating your weapons. It’s been awesome for the team because we got to explore all of his old sketches and those served as inspiration for gameplay. The famous flying machine that Leonardo drew is now playable in the game. We also took some liberty with his designs took things a step further. At the time, gun powder was just starting to be used in big cannons, so we went with that and made the first gun. There are a lot of new weapons that are inspired by Leonardo’s drawings.
