Sarah Palin now pissing off everyone

Evil Twin-spawning Sarah Palin isn't catching any easy breaks lately. Should she? Better ask her fans who, oh wait, are now booing her.

And when Martha Stewart calls you out, damn, you know you've set some kind of bar.

Not exaggerating. Martha Stewart got asked by CNN why Sarah Palin's polarizing.

Martha calls her "boring," "confused," "a dangerous person," and a "real problem." The best is when Martha throws down on a patronizing "good for her" when told about her book sales and then, after, "I wouldn't watch her if you pay me." SHOTS FIRED!

    • Whatever it was meant to be Current is a slice of society which includes the unintelligent and the pessimist. Fortunately for most of us this forum seems to me too consist of a majority of intelligent commenters.

    • This should really be a non issue. The fact that anyone actually cares about this is proof that many people have not moved on. I think it only effects the people who voted against something and not the ones who voted for something. I really thought current was supposed to be a venue for intelligent optimist.

    • Add a comment (You can paste links too)It seems like everyone here on Current loves Sarah Palin. If you search this site, Current.com, "Sarah Palin" is far more popular than AL Gore, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, or anyone else for that matter. So while some people might be afraid or upset with Sarah Palin, She is well loved here on Current.com. I think the best part about her is that Sarah Palin rubs the right people the wrong way. I doubt any other person will ever be as popular or talked about as much as Sarah Palin is. On Current.com she ranks #1!

yes but lets not forget its the merit that counts. lets examine why she's popular and not just celebrate her popularity. She rubs the right people the wrong way because she is so wrong about everything that the people that have it right would just like to see her get over her-self and go away. She is one sound-byte away from jumping into the grave she has dug herself. Sarah Palin may be popular now, but by election time, i wouldnt be surprised if she was in hiding by all the humiliation she has caused herself, once she is exposed for the fraud that she is.

    • This specific article only shows Martha Stewart, but there sure is a considerable large amount of coverage on others speaking against, or at least being tough. Even Bill'O did not allow her to do a fluff piece on his segment, pretty much tearing her apart. Hopefully she makes her rounds in the entertainment arena before the years end, and we dont ever have to hear or see her again. But that's just hopeful wishing.

      Here's the best breakdown of Palin and her book, done by the Stephen Colbert;

    • Palin has Borderline Personality Disorder, or Narcissistic Personality Disorder, or some solid combination of the two. Until she gets some mental help, the only people who will NOT be pissed off by her self-absorbed ignorance, and her damaging behavior, are:

      a) those who are duped into thinking she cares about anything but herself (ie - her fans - at least the ones she doesn't leave standing out in the rain)

      and

      b) her enablers (ie - close friends, family, people in her inner circle that are already accustomed to her narcissism and allow it to live and grow)

That's it. To the rest of the world, including those intelligent members of the Republican party who have NOT been fooled by her "Lookie Ameerica! I'm a Folksy Rogue!" Act, she's a pariah and an embarrassment.

The only ticket that Palin will be running on in 2012 is an independent ticket - real Republicans wish she was never born, and she'll never get anywhere near their presidential nomination. I didn't think it was possible for one person to do more damage to the Republican party than Baby Bush.

      I was wrong.

    • These politics of personal destruction go back and forth. I recall that Martha Stewart, a prominent liberal, was attacked by the Bush's SEC in a ground-breaking case that pushed the limit on "insider trading" cases into questionable territory. Meanwhile, the Bush SEC was blatantly ignoring Wall Street and analyst pushing of corrupt mortgage derivative products that everyone knew where shady. Martha Stewart's prosecution was obviously a politically motivated witchhunt against a prominent, iconic female liberal.

Now, here we see, years later, Martha Stewart engaging in similarly shallow and gratuitous attacks on a prominent, iconic female conservative.

The politics of personal destruction just grind on year after year, don't they?

    • As if Elitist Martha's opinion really counts? Nice coverage, CNN. Keep up the bashing, CNN. Only to continue the "polarizing" between morals and lack thereof.

    • Martha has a point in that when you have someone as stupid and confused (and charismatic to some) as Palin in politics, it is dangerous. Were she to obtain national, political, leadership, we would be well and truly fucked.

    • The last time I checked, Palin didn't spend time in prison for being a "greedy capitalist". That honor belongs to Martha!

And she wonders why her show fell off the radar. Same with Oprah. Once you narrow your viewer audience by picking sides politically, the end is always near. It's all about the ratings.

But let’s enjoy some of the funnier moments of her fall from the Utopian Top.

    • She is too irrelevant to me to 'piss me off.' I save that for substantial issues. Once again, more obsession and distraction to feed the media fire and people fall for it. And please, Martha Stewart? Didn't she do jail time for insider trading? Since when does she speak for everyone and why is this even news?

    • I'm amazed at the constant level of attack against Palin. Is she really that big of a threat that the liberal left fell compelled to blast her off of the face of the earth? It makes me wonder...

    • Marshalddog:

She's not a threat. Noone is upset because she's a threat. People are upset because she shows no understanding of social and political issues and she insults millions with her "real america" "fake america" dichotomy. She pretends to be someone who can actually solve problems and she has nothing interesting or new to say. She just repeats slogans and winks. Also, she supports killing wolves.

I have some fear. Republicans did put Bush in power and came close to putting her a heart beat away from the presidency already. She'd make Bush look like boy genius.

She's easy to look at, shoots guns, uses empty conservative phrases like "liberal media" and "tax and spend" and conservatives fall all over themselves for her.

Palin is out for the money, just like the rest of the world....simply goes about it differently. Writing a book, getting a talk-show, and whatever else simply makes her more money and fame than playing Governor.

Michail77, I have to agree that many of the right wing conservative Christian Republicans do seem to favor Palin and they do fall all over themselves for her. I think she should pick Carrie Prejean as a running mate in 2012. This would give them something of a winning ticket. She is easier to look at than Palin ever wished to be but she is just about as clever and when it comes to issues that truly impact America they come neck to neck.

Neither could or would serve America well but all of these fantasizing Republican Christians would once again fill the White House with some devout, God fearing Christians.

I think if Sarah Palin would put out some "sex tapes" (eight each) as Carrie Prejean did then their victory would be more certain.

Prejean was quoted as saying: "We as Christians need to stick together and realize that the Enemy is powerful, and that there are so many people out there who will try and destroy good people. It's a crazy world, that's all I can say."

Sarah Palin and her Minister, "Thomas Muthee," could cast out all of the demons and thwart off all of the witch craft aimed at herself and the rest of America. Then and only then would we all be safe and once again we would all have our "Country Back."

Except Ellie loved the animals. She would never track and shoot wolves from a helicopter. I think Palin is more like an attractive Roseanne Barr: a loudmouth, obnoxious, arrogant, stupid bitch.

But Elly May was such a nice girl! Kind and warmhearted, she loved animals.

Ms. P, by contrast, loves to be a bitch and prides herself on her ability to shoot animals from helicopters.

I have some bones to pick with Martha, too, but here she is right on.

I didn't know Martha Stewart's political comments were now taken into consideration. Let's hope she doesn't run for president. I personally believe Sarah Palin's political career is just absurd and the little remaining faith in human kind that I have allows me to say that she'll never get in the White House.

Honestly I don't mean to offend you but if you honestly think this country is being taken over by Marxist ideals you need to go back to high school. And you obviously have no idea what Marxist ideals are. Believe me i know what i'm talking about. I recently did a research paper in my political science class on him. Oh, and as a political science major i can assure that Obama is in no way a socialist, because if you knew what socialism actually was you would realize that he is the opposite.

And she is no way a model patriot...i would tell you why but i believe this guy can put it in to better words then i can

And by the way this is a totally unbiased opinion (I am quite moderate) these facts are months of political science lectures and lessons.

I'm currently reading the Communist Manifesto, and it's analysis of economics is fairly dead on, with some exceptions, only due to how old it is. The general ideas of how wealth is created are spot on, and are even taught in the most conservative neoclassical economics.
