I was born of a whore and bred as an assassin, this could not be more true as Bioware's newest game, Dragon Age: Origins has blown critics away one after another. Now it would seem that now we know what has been blowing them, possibly giving good reason for the high scores for Dragon Age: Origins.

Homosexual web blog Queerty has discovered a man on man sexual encounter within the critically acclaimed video game by Bioware.

"While some video games, like The Sims, allow characters to engage in same-sex lovin', we believe BioWare's Dragon Age is the first that game creators produced an entire gay sex scene for. Between man and elf.

We've never played Dragon Age: Origins (the "dark heroic fantasy" was just released this month), but from watching this clip we know characters are given a series of dialogue options when talking to other characters. And like a good Choose Your Own Adventure book, selecting the right choices will reap excellent rewards."

      Gotta love the uninformed media. How can you even write an editorial when you admit you know nothing about the subject matter beyond a YouTube vid? Who cares about the rest of the game, right? It must be just all filler content leading up to the youth corrupting sex. Maybe the author is trying to jockey for position in case Fox News starts laying off on-air personalities?

    • The American news-media is obsessed with sex. You would think they were all stuck in middle school, giggling at private parts in their sex ed classes. Everything about sex is a BIG DEAL, a controversy of some kind that overshadows anything of actual importance. It's never treated as a part of the human experience that can be addressed with maturity. When Mass Effect let you have a sexual encounter, the media freaked out that it was somehow inappropriate. And here we go again. I actually think Bioware is on the right track in allowing the player to choose whatever path they can imagine instead of restricting it. These games are rated for adults. If you don't like it, don't buy it.

    • I love how the only aspect of intelligent adventure games picked up by the media these days is the fact that you can fuck in them. The philosophy, the difficult moral choices, the fact that most of these games have more class than the average Hollywood film are all purposefully ignored because there is a sex scene about as explicit as rubbing two ken dolls together for about ten seconds.

      Unlike the authors of this article, I've actually beaten the game. And while they're clearly not going the Fox Noise route of condemning it as corrupting the American youth, their gotcha media format is beyond annoying and totally misleading.

    • Hott. Yeah, I really like that Sims are all bisexual, but I wish you could choose whether your character was straight, gay or swung both ways. It would add another level of characterization.
