An episode of The Simpsons featuring Carla Bruni as a chain smoking femme fatale is taking off in France. Shown in the United States on November 15 "The Devil Wears Nada", the clip has now been viewed hundreds of thousands of times.

This is not the first time that The Simpsons has mocked the French – the show came up with the taunt "cheese-eating surrender monkey" .

The current Sarkozy parody has appeared without the couple's consent. So far they've made no comment about the appearance
