Senator Santorum is the mouth of defense contractors and (as Kucinich said so well) a divider of the people and a misinformation spin man for those who prosper during war. People like Santorum are out dated, bought up by special interest, and need a swift kick to the head.

Did I hear correctly? Rick Santorum: Defense is only 12% of our budget. A turd jewel rolls out of the mouth of yet another mathematically impaired Republican without challenge.
I would love to go to his house for pie during the holidays. Hey Rick, pass me 12% of that pie please. Oh we'll need a few more pies, the rest of your guests want 12% too.

Good Job Kucinich. I would consider voting for a ticket with him and Franken in 2012. Obama has been such a let down though, I don't believe any election or candidate can stand up against the real power players in this nation. I don't honestly believe that the mafia running the government would let something like that happen.

The old way of thinking is perpetuating the destruction of our country and the earth. War is old and in the way of the new thought of life and our ever shrinking world. The problem is that old thought is holding on for it's very survival and will drag everyone down with it if it is not stopped. This could be what the year 2012 is all about.

A lot of this comes from the McCarthy era political thinking, which many politicians have latched onto. This "us vs. them" mentality, that there has to be this invisible enemy "out there" we have to fight. It is incredibly inflexible and ill-suited for the changing of the times. I agree that we need a basic shift of basic political thought for the future. This inflexibility has us mired down in conflicts abroad and at home.

Oh man, Santorum. He's so gross. He was my state senator for a good chunk of my life and has always been a sickening plague on this country. Dennis owned him though. I don't really like democrats but Kucinich always really impresses me with his intensity, his intelligence and knowledge, and his ability to see past party lines.

Dennis Kucinich tells it like it is. We need many more like him in Congress. And yeah, they had to throw in the "cut and run" phrase... EIGHT YEARS is not "cut and run." BTW, is Rick Santorum still a member of Opus Dei?

WAKE UP AMERICA!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOTU9q_e1EwWE CAN'T AFFORD THIS WAR
http://current.com/items/91567890_we-cant-afford-this-war.htmThe moral scum of any society rises to the surface in war. Those who have a penchant for violence and an access to weapons dominate the landscape. This is nothing new in wartime. Violence is a disease, a disease that corrupts all who use it regardless of the cause - Chris Hedges

Post this everywhere, whitenoise.
Santorum mentioned that the bailouts were 1 tril, the stimulus was 1 tril and the healthcare bill is 1 trill. This imperialistic warmongering is 3.2 trill for the last decade.
What a at least the bailouts get paid back (some of it, anyway) the stimulus made a difference and the healthcare bill will be legendary. This war does nothing for us.

Kucinich has a very valid point, in that there are a lot of people who seem rather obsessed with generalizing their opponents.
