For years, the men and women who die in the nation’s immigration jails went uncounted and unnamed in the public record. Even in 2008, when The New York Times obtained and published a federal government list of such deaths, few facts were available about who these people were and how they died.
But according to the Times it is now clear that the deaths had already generated thousands of pages of government documents, including scathing investigative reports that were kept under wraps, and a trail of confidential memos and BlackBerry messages that show officials working to stymie outside inquiry.

I don't care what happens to illegal aliens caught violating immigration laws! I have heard or read so, so, so, many sob stories about the plight of illegal aliens without a single word about the tragic plight endured by the US citizens who are victims of illegal aliens. I don't care because our governments at all levels ignore the desires of their constituents and refuse to enforce our immigration laws. I don't care because I see pro-amnesty politicians block healthcare for US citizens unless illegal aliens are covered. I don't care because I'm sick and tired of being lied to by all those segments of the country who benefit from illegal aliens.
