When a Florida judge awarded custody of a 1-year-old boy to the foster family he’d been living with, saying the boy was “happy and thriving,” the Florida Family Policy Council of Orlando didn't seem to be too happy.

It sent out an alert to its members, according to the Orlando Sentinel, about the judge’s “arrogant judicial activism” in awarding custody to the couple, who just happen to be gay.

On the left is the picture that the Policy Council used to illustrate the gay couple that was awarded custody. On the right is the actual couple.

    • seriously? the photo on the left looks like it was photoshopped and were they too scared to send out the real photo? Of course we can't show our followers actual photos, that might conflict with our predetermined image and confuse them.

    • That just goes to show how narrow minded people can be when it comes to their view of what gay couples "look like".

In addition to this, who cares if the real foster family look like the ones on the left if they have looked after the child for a year and have been assessed and vetted then that should be the end of the matter, why would looks even come into it?
