Turkish Police have revealed that a 16 year old girl was burried alive by her family, because she befriended boys. Police discovered the victim of the gruesome honour killing in a 2 metre deep hole outside her house.
Post mortem results showed a large amount of soil in the girls lungs and stomach, meaning that she was burried alive and fully conscience, with no cuts, bruises or signs of narcotics.
The girls Father and Grandfather have been arrested and jailed, pending trial over the killig.
