SunChips Preview Call Tomorrow, Friday March 5th!

We are very excited to preview our newest VCAM assignment, with SunChips, about their new 100% compostable bag.

Current's co-founder Al Gore will be a guest judge, and producers whose VCAMs are selected will receive $5000 and have their ads premiere during Earth Week on national TV. The callout will launch this upcoming Monday, March 8th; stay tuned to the site for updates. Submissions are due Monday, April 5th.

    • It's not the bag, it's the contents. Mr. Gore, will you ask PepsiCo why they put GMO corn in their products, or even why they don't know what to answer when asked that question? Or why their packages are not labelled to disclose the true ingredients? Or is this really all about money? And Current cannot use the defense of ignorance regarding GMOS. We have been warning about them here for the last several years, and these tests have been posted for all to see.

    • Why does this excite you so much? I guess Al being a guest judge is cool, but "very excited?"

      Making the chips with solar power and packing them in a compostable bag doesn't change the fact that what's in the bag is garbage.

      With the first ingredient being GENETICALLY MODIFIED CORN, this should horrify you, not make you excited. Current TV and Al Gore shouldn't even endorse this product, let alone make it a VCAM assignment.

      This is just my opinion of course, but I hoped for better from Current.
