Saturday August 21, 2010, Howard Davis Jr’s Fight Time Promotions and Jeff Gibson’s Elite Promotions presented the MMA event FIGHT TIME 1. This happening was the first of what I hope is an ongoing championship. FIGHT TIME 1 was held at Club Cinema 3251 North Federal Highway, Pompano Beach Florida; a venue that seats around 3,000 people. The Club was sold out. The standing room only crowd was treated to 8 professional MMA bouts. The main event was a heavyweight contest between Ultimate Fighting Championship veterans Jason Guida (18-22) vs Jeff “The Snowman” Monson (35-11).
