Cherry Blossoms - "A Walk Around the Tidal Basin" - April 3, 2011, Rupert Chappelle
Who else would walk around the Tidal Basin carrying a video camera and post the results to YouTube? It was a crowded Sunday with the blossoms in full bloom.
Equipment: Canon HF21 Video Camera, Manfrotto tripod and two shoe strings using the Chappelle Walking Camera Technique.
Due to construction at the Jefferson Memorial there was a detour around the Memorial which made for a necessary edit in the shot that otherwise would have been continuous. One other edit was made while walking across the long bridge because it was just too crowded and too slow and not the most scenic of locations along the walk.
