World Cup Soccer

The Women's World Cup Soccer Kicked off in Germany a few days ago. How many people knew that? It's truly amazing how so many people can come together for one thing. Soccer truly is the Worlds sport. Where else can you have so many N. Koreans and Americans in one place? The U.S. and N. Korea just kicked off their game together just a few minutes ago. Some people find soccer boring, since the scores are so low and few and far between, but to me it's truly exciting to watch and when the The World Cup comes around it's beautiful to see so many from different countries, views, races, religions come together.

    • I played soccer from kindergarten thru high school. I have always favored it over American Football. I was fortunate in High school when the Men's World Cup was hosted in the U.S. I got to see a few games in California. I spent time in Chicago as a kid and was a die hard Bears and Cubs fan, not so much interest in either sport for me anymore though

    • Thanks for the info TDK, I use to play soccer, European Football, as well as tennis, and Baseball before becoming crippled. Saw the Cubs, White Sox game towards the end. I am still waiting for a miracle with the Cubbies.
