Election Reform Is So Long Overdue!! Don't ya think?

According to a study by The Center for Responsive Politics, special interests paid Washington lobbyists $3.2 billion in 2008—more than any other year on record. This was a 13.7 percent increase from 2007 (which broke the record by 7.7 percent over 2006).

    • I don't know how a constitutional amendment would be worded, but I seriously believe that there should be one amendment solely devoted to election laws.

      Any lawyers or scholars out there have any suggestions?

      I know I'd like to see every penny spent on campaigns accounted for as well as a uniform set of election rules that aren't gamed by the two big parties.
