Automakers Agree To Big Boost In Mileage Standards

Automakers and President Obama have come to an agreement that will bring about the largest cut in fuel consumption since the 1970s. Automakers have pledged to double fuel economy to 54.5 mpg by 2025, with changes beginning in model year 2017.
