How you can help: 'No Kid Hungry'

Hunger prevents kids from reaching their full potential. It's an epidemic that’s threatening America’s future.

Our partners at Share Our Strength are aiming to address the problem with their "No Kid Hungry" campaign.

The problem
That child who doesn’t have enough to eat isn't going to do as well in school and is likely to get sick more often. She's less likely to graduate from high school and go on to college, which will have a negative impact on her economic future. If this happens, then twenty years from now, she's much less likely to be able to earn enough to feed her family.

The solution
There are several ways to help, including advocacy, social networking and donating. Check out the full array of ways you can help tackle the problem of child malnutrition here. Below are a few examples:

Advocate
Help us reach out to policy makers to promote awareness and prompt action at the local, state, and national levels.

Urge elected officials to protect kids’ access to food |  Send a letter to the editor

Spread the World
It's easy to share No Kid Hungry with your friends and family. Please tell them what we’re doing to address childhood hunger in America, and why it's so very important.

Donate your Facebook status |  Ask your Facebook friends to take the pledge
