Character Animator - Supernews

Description

SuperNews! is looking for an experienced, FLASH CHARACTER ANIMATOR to join our team as we prepare for our 2nd Season of Half Hour Shows, premiering in October 2009. This is an in-house, 5-month project-temp position (Aug 2009-December 2009) with possibility of continuing into 2010.

Responsibilities

Candidates must possess the following:

 

•Expertise at creating classic animation motion principles with flash symbol-based characters.

 

•Ability to animate both big action and subtle acting a MUST.

 

•Great hand drawing ability, and solid understanding of human anatomy.

 

•Must be able to send one or more of the following; Reel, Link to Online Portfolio/Website, Examples of Life Drawing, Resume.

 

•Must be willing to complete a SHORT ANIMATED SAMPLE SCENE (which we will provide) prior to being considered.

 

•Must be available and able to work in the Hollywood, CA area.

 

•Sense of Humor, Strong Organization Skills, Fresh Ideas and Creativity, Adaptability, and Knowledge of Pop-Culture and Politics definitely a BONUS.
