A recent poll shows that people don't seem ready for a Mormon president - tough luck, Romney. An ABC News-Washington Post poll found 32% of Republican leaning voters are uncomfortable with the idea of a Mormon president. But it could be worse: 46% negativity towards a Muslim candidate, and 63% for one who doesn't believe in God.

    • unfortunately, more and more people in this country believe our laws should reflect religious doctrine (often to the detriment of those citizens who are either of a different religion or who are atheists). the findings of that poll in no way surprise me, but i think it says a lot about who americans are as people.
