Today, fewer than ten companies dominate the American media landscape. Those conglomerates control a large part of what Americans watch, listen to and read. This narrowing of the culture has brought about the birth of alternative media.

    • i really wish to have a conversation with the freeway blogger.i respect your freedom to express yourself and agree with many of your signs etc.however here is the problem,i think it is primarily with your attitude.do you really have such an attitude? To say we are media controlled is somewhat true, however, I would say as a general rule radio is mostly conservative, left radio was given many chances ,americans just do not want to see here it, explain to me why al franken, etc did not last ! left has a a huge voice, the mainline media is so liberal it is obvious. Teachiong people to hate and fear america, where are you looking. where does everyone in the world want to come? where does everyone want to become a citiizen, who comes to the aid of those in times of need and disaster. who is the largest most generous country in the world when it comes to charitable contributions ? policy of torture, are you serious? a pair of undewear on the head is not torture, what is torture is cutting someones head of while it is being televised, being tortured is cutting of someones fingers vecause they stole, or cuttting someones tongue out because they spoke something against the class that wants to rule. you need to open your eyes my friend. I am not dsiputing anything you have said or protest it is just very one sided.....do you need more examples ?

    • Free speech is one thing, but if free speech to you means killing trees for silly signs that end up as littler, and condeming president Bush by saying the ''war'' is about ''oil''; then why the heck are you out there using up gas and oil to put up signs made from paper that is made from trees that in turn are destroying the rainforest thus causing global warming???? Your the biggest hipocrite of all! What the "FREEWAY BLOGGER" is saying is wrong on every level. At least in the way he is saying it!!!

So WHY is he going around WASTING PAPER AND GAS on his silly poster boards that will end up being LITTER ALLONG THE FREEWAY??? This just seems stupid all the way around to me. Pardons please if you feel I''m ignorant in some way. But this is BS!
