Hey December,
There aren''t any humanitarian housing programs here at all. In fact, since the invasion, Gulf governments have made it more difficult for Iraqis (men especially) to enter the country by refusing to grant them visit visas. We are one family in thousands that are taking care of our own relatives. Most Iraqis have now flooded into Syria and Jordan, but from what I know there are no refugee housing programs there either. It sucks.

Very enciteful...thank you for sharing. Are there any efforts in Dubai to provide assistance to families providing housing/resources for the people displaced by what is happening in Iraq? My friends and I have ideas and would like to be envolved. Can we talk further?
